We are the main Irish distributor for Novalk and Sirca. That means the people on the Tullamore counter know the systems, and it means we can put a chemist at the other end of the phone when a film, a stain or a colour will not sit down.

In-house, from first contact to the finished result

Call, email or walk in with the substrate, the sheen and what the film is doing. Typical questions we handle here:

• Which stack — acid-cured, pre-catalysed, PU, waterborne or Sikkens exterior — belongs on this job
• How much to thin AC and PC for gravity and pump guns
• Catalyst, pot life and why you do not thin a tin you are putting back on the shelf
• Stain, filler and topcoat as one system, not three merchants
• Colour matching into the chemistry you will actually spray

If the answer lives on a product page, we will send you there. If it needs a spray-out, bring the panel to the counter.

Novalk and Sirca technical departments

Alongside our own expertise we have the support of the Novalk and Sirca technical departments, including their dedicated teams of experienced chemists. That is the point of being the main Irish distributor rather than a catalogue reseller.

We use that route for stubborn colours, unusual substrates, and when a specified system is not behaving the way the data sheet says it should. You still talk to Lacquerite. We carry the question.

System training — and what we will not train

We will walk a workshop through the system on the bench: mixing order, thinning percentages, sheen, stain stacks and how to order so the next tin matches. For Novalk and Sirca lines we can involve their technical teams when a plant needs a proper application session.

REACH diisocyanate training is different. If you spray products containing diisocyanates above 0.1% w/w, your staff must complete the mandatory safe-handling course. We will tell you which tins are in scope. We will not train your team for you — that obligation stays with the employer.

The trade counter in Tullamore

Unit 12G, Axis Business Park, Tullamore, Co Offaly, R35 NN62. Open Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00. Closed weekends and bank holidays.

• Collect stock the same day, including sundries and thinners
• Drop a colour sample or a spray-out that is not matching
• Talk thinning, catalyst and sheen with people who sell these systems every day
• Place an order for 24–48 hour delivery from the same facility
